ConTrax Logistics System - mobile pallet handling system for the in-plant transportation of material

The ConTrax logistics vehicle is built on an AGV base platform and transports small load carriers (SLCs) or pallets. The SLCs can be picked up or deposited to the left or right of the track.

The workpieces are taken automatically from the collection point to the respective workstations by the optically guided vehicles.

The tower turns to the transfer position to deposit the containers. The gripper is moved into the gripping position by a telescopic axle and a lifting axle and deposits the container (stacking and restacking is possible). Once the SLCs have been processed, they are stacked inside the vehicle. Two stacks can be formed.

Positional inaccuracies of ± 5mm in the AGV and workpiece carrier can be compensated by the use of a floating gripper.

The ConTrax logistics vehicle can be provided with two container stacks. If required, the AGV can be extended or a floor roller/tender can be coupled to the vehicle to enable a third stack of containers to be transported or restacked.

The electrically operated logistics vehicle can be used in 24/7 operation without any interruptions. It requires neither time-consuming battery charging nor induction loops. Energy storage is carried out in seconds in parallel to the manufacturing process.
